About us
Greeting
Since our founding in 1964, Takechi Sangyo has been deeply rooted in Osaka’s Minato Ward, building our business around real estate leasing and property management.
Carrying on the trust established by the previous generation and our commitment to serving the local community, I assumed leadership as the second-generation successor in 2022.
In recent years, particularly in areas such as Chikko, Bentencho, and Asashiobashi, we have been actively revitalizing underutilized properties—renovating vacant units, converting them into short-term accommodations, and attracting commercial tenants to make better use of local real estate resources.
As part of our vacancy-reduction efforts, we are also focusing on providing housing options for people coming to Japan from overseas.
Many individuals—such as technical trainees and foreign workers—face difficulties finding housing due to language barriers or the lack of a guarantor.
At the same time, many property owners feel uncertain about renting to foreign tenants, resulting in properties that remain vacant despite their potential.
Our goal is to bridge this gap by carefully addressing these challenges and connecting “people who need a place to live” with “rooms that remain unused.”
By providing comprehensive support—from contract procedures to daily-life assistance for foreign residents—we aim to create a safe and comfortable living environment that benefits tenants, property owners, and the entire community.
Minato Ward is an area full of untapped potential.
Beyond the lively stations, many everyday residential districts also deserve attention.
We are committed to enhancing the overall value of the community and contributing to the ongoing development of Minato Ward.
Together with local residents, we hope to help shape the landscape of Minato Ward for the future.

Company History
Takechi Sangyo Co., Ltd. was founded in 1964.
The founder, Torayoshi Takechi, began his first business during his student years by selling charcoal.
Riding the wave of postwar housing shortages and Japan’s rapid economic growth,
he expanded into apartment construction and management.
By bringing in materials and skilled craftsmen from Shikoku,
he was able to maintain low costs while achieving high-quality construction,
making a significant contribution to the development of Osaka’s Minato Ward.
Supporting this journey by his side was his wife, Miyuki Takechi.
From preparing meals for craftsmen, to accounting, rental contracts, and rent collection—
she carried both household and business responsibilities with unwavering dedication.
The company’s success today would not have been possible without her steadfast support.
Over time, the business diversified around real estate management,
and has been handed down through the cooperation of family members.
Today, I, Alexandre Takechi, serve as the company’s representative.
Following my grandfather’s strong wishes, I was adopted into the Takechi family
and entrusted with the mission of carrying on both the family name and the company.
Takechi Sachi is a person who has quietly supported the very foundation of Takechi Sangyo for many years, ever since the company was first established. From the harsh days of its founding to the present, she has overcome countless hardships together with the company. I can state without hesitation that the Takechi Sangyo of today could never have existed without her.
In her younger years, she studied at a renowned fashion institute in Tokyo, developing an exceptional sensibility for design and fashion. She was also highly skilled at drawing, and possessed a remarkably rich creativity. At the same time, she has the strength and perseverance to manage numbers and assets with absolute rigor, and that steady, disciplined mindset has continued to support Takechi Torayoshi and Takechi Sangyo from within.
Even now, at the age of 95 (as of February 2026), she still visits the company three times a day and continues to work on tasks such as organizing documents.
“I have always been favored by the universe,” she says quietly. In those words, one can feel the deep resolve and lived conviction of someone who devoted her life to work, to Takechi Torayoshi, and to sustaining Takechi Sangyo to this day.
I, as the successor, want to learn from and carry forward her attitude toward work never cutting corners, and always honoring steady accumulation and consistency.
My grandfather’s guiding philosophy is “creating a rich life and a livable community.”
He also often said, “If you are creating a forest, don’t plant only one kind of tree,”
a phrase that symbolizes his respect for diversity and risk diversification.
In recent years, he frequently repeats the words, “In the end, all that matters is love.”
Carrying this message close to my heart,
I will continue to walk this path with a spirit that values people, the community, and society as a whole.
While inheriting his philosophy, I bring an international perspective to the idea of
“creating a rich life and a livable community.”
However, rather than simply importing foreign cultures,
I place importance on helping newcomers understand and feel at home with Japanese culture and the local character.
I believe it is our mission to create housing and serve as a bridge to the community
so that people arriving from abroad grow to love Japan and cherish its culture.
With love as our foundation,
we will continue our work with gratitude—for people, for the community, and for society.
